# Copy/Paste strange result

I have made a template that I use frequently - “Blank Lead Sheet”.

When I Copy one verse from an old file and paste it to the new file, every empty bar ends up on one line! Library/Layout/Staves and Systems/Casting Off does NOTHING! I can fix by changing first empty bar

(If I can find it) to Frame Break.

Question 1 - Why do the empty bars get bunched?

Question 2 - Why does Casting Off get frozen?

Hi @robert44, this is because of the properties of the frame and (last) system break: they are waiting for the next one, which doesn’t exist:

To solve, the faster way is to reset the layout:
