Copy to include meter signatures?

I’m REALLY enjoying Dorico, but it is incredibly annoying that copying and pasting doesn’t easily move the time signatures (I write a lot of multimeter music)! I understand that you can select the time signatures individually to be included in the copy, or you can just set them up in advance, or maybe something involving the system track, but all of these options take me out of my compositional flow (like right now). Can’t there be some way to easily include that in the regular copy-paste or am I just going to have to get used to it?

If I copy this, time signatures get pasted

So the problem might be: how do you select the things you want to paste?

Above I select both notes and time signatures by just drawing a rectangle around these bars

Right, I don’t want to have to select the meters too. They should be automatically included with the copy-paste.

Dorico will copy the things you select. In your OP, it sounded like you were trying to avoid individually selecting time signatures, but @TonH’s point is that if you use a drag select, you can include the time signatures with the notes.

This won’t work if you do a select and then Shift+click. But the system track also works fine, as you note.
