Copying 3/2 motif into 4/4 space

If I copy a 3/2 motif from one project into 4/4 space in another project, will Dorico convert the 3/2 passage into 4/4, syncopating as needed?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean here, but it’s easy for you to try yourself. If you copy 6 quarter note beats, Dorico will paste those same 6 quarter note beats.
