The attachment shows what happens when I try and copy the upper bar into the lower. Next problem - how can you edit the lower bar so that it is correct.

At least I’ve realised how to edit the incorrect note - edit the first note of the tie-chain to a semiquaver, add the two additional notes and finally tie the lot together.
