Sorry if this has been asked before. I have a part looking exactly the way I want it in one Dorico project. I would like to copy the exact layout, bar number style, immediate tempo text size, time signature styles etc. to a new project.
So far I’ve managed to export the master page set and import it giving me the right layout in terms of flow title and text, but can’t figure out how to get the bar number, multi-bar and time signature information over.
Any help is much appreciated!
At the moment there’s no feature to export the styles from one project in order to import them into another one (though this is certainly something that we will be addressing in a future version of the software).
An alternative approach is instead to take the project that contains all of the options you want to use, then do File > Save As to save it under a new name, delete the existing flows and players, and then use File > Import > Flows to import the flows from your other project, effectively importing the music into the styles, rather than the converse.
