Copying using ctr+click, alt+click ? Where can I find a reference?

I am working through the “first steps” tutorial and in the lesson linked below, a method of copy/paste is mentioned (control+click selects, then alt-click pastes) What is the actual command? Are there specific times when this is used? Can someone kindly link to the appropriate page in the current Dorico Pro5 online manual? Sincere thanks. Here is the lesson from “first steps” (no h t t p s) steinberg.help/dorico_first_steps/v5/en/dorico_first_steps/topics/first_steps_writing/first_steps_right_left_hand_indications_adding_t.html

Alt+click will paste whatever is selected to wherever you click (you don’t need to copy it first)

That’s awesome. Thank-you! And thanks for the link. I am finding that searching the manual is not brining up answer that appear relevant. Sometimes the first “hits” do not even contain the words I am searching for.

Can you give a couple of examples for someone to check out?

It’s possible that searching for key commands in the online help won’t bring up results, but that should in theory work in the PDF quite well.

If you’re using the online help, avoid searching for key commands themselves, and instead focus on the associated action: in this case, “paste”.

(There’s also not really much more to it than is described in First Steps: if you’ve got notes/items selected, and you hold down the Alt/Opt key whilst clicking somewhere else in the music, your selection is pasted to where you click. That’s… that’s it really  )
