Copyright - Trivial Question

To put a copyright notice in Project Info or in the front matter, I have to open Character Map on Windows to copy the copyright symbol to paste into Dorico: ©

Is there a shortcut way to get this symbol? Word will convert (c) to © automatically.

To a composer, © is as important as #.

I have Dorico on Mac, but is ALT+0169 working on PC?

technically, you don’t absolutely require the symbol ©, just the word “copyright” is sufficient.

but I have a cute utility where I just press the right alt button, then in order o + c to get ©.

it’s called WinCompose, and yes, it’s for Windows.

@Mats_Frendahl’s answer works if you have a numpad. If you don’t (like me), you’ll have to copy and paste it from somewhere else (like Character Map).

You can also simply copy-paste from Word, if that’s where you know how to create it the easiest way. Or copy it here ©
