Cord Pads are inverting

Cubase Artist 13.0.41 (upgrade from 8.5 Artist)
Windows 10
I tried to use Cord Pads for my simple song (Cmaj) . First i recorded MIDI from a MODX and then read the cords from the track in order to select the needed cords in the pad window. Then I created at pad-track and dragged the pad cords in place. I didn’t change the pads, so I was surprised to hear that the pad-cords in the cord track, was inverted upwards from one pad to the next in a semi random way. At the end of my melody the cords were 2 octaves above the starting point. The changes were made by CuBase. I did not change the original pads.
I tried to copy the pads in the pad-track to an instrument. There you can see the cords climbing slowly.

Am I the only one having this problem?

Not at Cubase at the moment, but I think you need to turn off Adaptive voicings from the Chord Track.

(The big shift happens at G → F at bar 13, where from [G B D], it chooses to go to [A C F] for the F.)
