Select All, right click mouse , Notehead, Reset to default notehead

(Or: Edit→Notations→Notehead→Reset to Default Notehead )

If not, please attach the dorico project itself

Realize that Dorico uses the Larger noteheads as its default; “Default” noteheads are an industry standard rather than Dorico’s standard.

True, but “Reset to Default Notehead” sets things back to whatever is specified in Engraving Options > Notes > Notehead Design, not necessarily to the set called Default Noteheads.

In a Dorico project based on factory defaults, Reset to Default Notehead will change the noteheads back to the Larger Noteheads set, since that’s the factory default.
