It’s really easy task. I don’t believe dorico’s team not support in Elements. I first write song in piano and score, so every pitch into grand staff. I can’t believe it. Just put 8 sign on the treble not supported. It’s super easy in muse score. Why free product have good function, It’s not support in paid product.
Actually, Roman numeral support is not the problem. Because there’s nice font for Roman numeral. But It’s awful. Free software can do the same thing, it’s not paid. Paid software do the same thing JPY 64000. Paid software only do have the function is affordable. but I can’t pay this little tiny thing such a high price.
Are you trying to transpose the music already entered by an octave? Select the clef and change it using the appropriate setting (such as the clef tool or in the instrument definition). You can’t just shove an 8 on the clef as text (if that’s what you are doing).
