I’ve just launched Dorico and got this error:
No idea why it would say that. I used Dorico normally until 3 hours ago then normally quit it from the app’s menu.
Should I really do how it says or is there something else? Dorico launched normally afterwards, NotePerformer loaded and playback appears to be working.
Restarting is certainly the best policy.
I generally leave Dorico and my Mac running for weeks, but if something starts playing up, then a restart is one of the first things to try.
I usually quit Dorico after the daily work session to avoid the VST Audio Engine process lingering there when the Mac goes to sleep.
I will restart later tonight but I’d like to know what this is about.
