I often debug music by playing along a Dorico playback. Sometimes it would be helpful to have a one or two bar count off. Is there something like that?
You can turn on a click track by clicking the metronome button in the top right:
Then, under Playback Options you can choose the sound of the click, as well as the length of the count-in. Of course this way you will hear the click throughout the rest of the piece as well.
You could add a flow with 2 bars of woodblock at the start of your piece, and set the Playback gap between flows to 0 seconds.
When all note entry is done, you simply delete that flow
