CPU Overload?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working with my UR22 along with Cubase AI 7 and never had a problem, even when I was using an older computer. My current setup is:

i7 4770
16GB RAM
MSI g43-z87 board
Nvidia GTX770

I recently started using Kontakt libraries, some of which must be heavy on the CPU, but I was expecting better performance. My recent projects (8-10 instrument tracks and 6-8 audio tracks) are impossible to edit as I get a lot of CPU peaks. I tried every buffer size, reset all preferences and reinstalled drivers for the UR22, still the same.

Any thoughts?

What is your Buffer Size, please?

Try to check your system by the LatencyMon tool. Hopefully you will find the bottleneck of your system.
