I also removed the video engine and put in on my desktop, thanks for the idea - no more computer fan noise during playback!

If it’s helpful to know, I’m running NotePerformer on a 2015 MacBook Pro, with Mojave. The file is called videoengine.bundle. To find it, you need to control-click the Dorico icon in the Applications folder; select Show Package Contents, then navigate to Contents/Components. When I tried to move it to the desktop, at first it only made an alias. To successfully move it, I control-click the file and selected Move to Trash; then I dragged it from the Trash to the Desktop. On my desktop, the file is called “video engine 7.39.42.bundle”.
