CPU with many cores and MMCSS

Hi,

I currectly have a i9 7900X, 10 core/20 HTthread CPU.
Mostly using VST and larger buffer sizes+ASIO (i.e. no realtime recording)

Can somebody provide some hints, if for this scenario there are benefits from a more recent /more core CPU like i9 18 core or Ryzen?

Or are these many cores not used due to so called MMCSS limitation of Win10?
(as described on the Steinberg homepage, Cubase 10/11 handles number of threads in Win10 by itself (MMCSS limit))
