Crackling noises w/ new TOOLS 1.1.3

System Specs:

  • Windows 7 (64bit)
  • Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.6Ghz
  • 12gb RAM
  • Cubase 5.5.3 (32bit)

I only tried installing it once. After installing the noises started, so I rebooted hoping that would fix the problem but it didn’t. I switched the UR28M off then on and it still didn’t fix it, so I uninstalled and reverted back to 1.1.2. I wished they worked because apparently they fix the bug where creating a new folder crashes Cubase to the desktop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Uninstall the drivers and try a different USB port - I know it doesn’t like a very “techy” solution but sometimes the basic troubleshooting routine can solve the problem.
