Crash after Winows update KB4487044

Yesterday my Windows udpate installs new fix KB4487044, and after that i get constant crashes.

In 8 crashes, dmp file says 2 times Sampler track 5 times GrooveAgent se4. One crash going to system…

After uninstlling KB4487044 no crashes.

Hi,

Try to start Cubase as administrator.

Try to start eLCC as administrator and trigger Maintenance.

Try to uninstall Cubase and install it again from the Full Installer as administrator.

Try to run Cubase in Cubase Safe Start Mode.

Did you try the stuff I described above?

If it’s still crashing, attach dump file (located in Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps folder), please.

No, haven’t had time and am quite sacred about uninstalling and doing a fresh install (if I do that will I have to reinstall all my 3rd party vsts?)

I’ll post the crash dump when I’m home.

FYI… no crashing here (CB Pro 9.5 or CB Pro 10) after install of subject update.

After Cubase reinstalling, you don’t have to install the plug-ins again.

I have last crash dump over 6 moths ago, and it was because of bad version of vst. Now all these DMP files goes to Sampler track & GA. & All this “Sh*t” happened after windows update.
Uninstalling this update solve the problem

Hi, ive attached the DMP files. Not sure how to interpret/read them

Can someone please advise why cubase KEEPS crashing?

As far as i can see i didnt have the KB4487044 update.I did have KB4487017 though and have uninstalled that, as it it bricked my NI Komplete Kontol keyboard

sick of all these crashes, need to finish things!

All crashes are in NI Reaktor 6.

great thanks. NI are cheeky bastards. I dont even own reaktor 6 - I use reaktor 5 and somehow the reaktor 6 player has downloaded and installed on my system and seems to be causing issues. Ill uninstall.
