Crash, but can't attach crash dump to message

2 projects open - Crash dialogue box when closing one project and activating another. I would like to attach crash dump file, but get an “invalid file extension” error message.

Ideas?

Yes. Don’t post crash dump files on the forum. They’re huge and just annoy people.
Instead, give an explanation of the problem and people may offer things to try. If someone really wants to go through the crash dump file they could ask you for it.

Ok, not looking for a fix really, just thought Steinberg would like to know. FYI - file is 540KB

Just start a support ticket and give it to them. I hope you get it sorted out. :slight_smile:

Select the files. Right click and select Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder.
