I hope crash dump will tell more specific reason. BTW this module is something mega cool and has lots of potential in it 
Can confirm same crash, unloading from a file selected to NC (selecting cancel on the selection window) brings to crash when pressing play.
I understand this is a very first release of a potentially powerful tool but still missing a lot:
video opens in a separate window, not full screenable, and not one of the 8 video monitors. We should have a way to select the video monitor output, and over or under normal song video tracks, because usually we have one of the monitor as fullscreen on the projector.
volume fader for audio is missing in the module or as a channel in the mixer. We should be able to select not only outs but also groups as output in this way we can have a global group to control media player audio where we can add plugins effects if needed. At the moment settin media player output to MAIN, no VU meter movement on MAIN in the mixer, this means audio is sent to interface directly by media player without passing from VSTLive mixer.
RTZ works for video not for audio
Maybe the media player would be better integrated the same way metronome and drum beat machines are, with his own global channel in mixer and listed as a built in module on the top toolbar

Yes, the Module will have an own Volume fader inside the Module.
