So, this is different to the OP’s issue…? Maybe time for a new [Bug] thread, with clear repro steps, just to help make sure it gets attention…! Crashes are never good…!!

This is SOOOO FREAKIN’ ANNOYING!! This is the only problem I have with the whole program and Steinberg still can’t seem to get it fixed! It gets old fast for those of us who use Cubase daily.

Me, having the same problem, trashed them twice… Still crash…

I’m guessing trashing prefs only helps because in the default settings the infoline is off. After trashing prefs, as soon as you enable it again the crashes reappear.

I have trashed preferences multiple times, which seems to be the only weapon in tech support’s arsenal regarding this issue. Sorry, forgot to say that, since I had just done so in a similar thread.
