I have partially created a substantial orchestral score that I can still edit freely, but when I play it back, the vertical play position bar stalls about halfway across the first page. At this point, Dorico becomes completely unresponsive to command input of any kind, although the band plays on to the end of my data input (and perhaps beyond, who knows?). The only way forward is to close the Dorico window, at which point I see notification of a crash report being generated. You would have a stack of them from me by now if that is correct. I have cleaned out the duplicate and outdated copies of the score that resulted. Rebooting my processor does not seem to free up the situation at all.
Somehow, I seem to have both project folders and projects without an enclosing folder in the Dorico Projects base folder. Is this an unhealthy way to be / possible problem cause?
Should I upload a copy of the score now to assist diagnosis of this issue, or try to gather other information first?
