FWIW, I use that plugin in Cubase Pro 11 without problems. I am on Win 10. My plugin is inserted in the Control Room, though, not the mixer out.

That means, the crash is not in Cubase, it’s in the plug-in. Please get in contact with the plug-in manufacturer.
