Anybody else having Cubase 9.5 crash or hang when freezing tracks ? 
Me too! Freezing VSTi = hang
Audio mixdown = hang
Same project in Cubase 7.0 working fine!
My problems are solved!
I have upgraded my system to latest Intel i7-8700 CPU and now working smoothly. 
I tried the Win 8-compatible mode which seemed to work on the first freeze, but unfortunately on the second attempt at freezing it crashed again:(
Do you mean, you’ve upgraded your system by the new hardware (i7-8700)? Or some new software updates?
