Crash when using Import Tracks from Project or Track Archive, N14 to N15

I need to import tracks from a session originally done in N14. I import the tracks including the audio from the session, N15 imports them (they appear in the session) then a window that has a blue bar and reads “transferring” shows up and the N15 session disappears. I then opened the original N14 session in N15 and saved it in N15 but still get the same crash. I then created a track export (track archive) in N14 and tried importing that into the N15 project, same crash. Finally, I opened N14 and N15 up side by side and copy/pasted the audio from the N14 session into N15 and…N15 crashed.

to reproduce:

  • create N15 session
  • use “Import tracks from project” or “Import track archive” to bring tracks in from a session done in N14.

I’m running Mac OSX 15.7.4 (Sequoia) in Rosetta (I’m using Nuage).
