New behavior with the latest update. Fairly consistent and reproduceable.
Importing either MIDI or XML causes Dorico to crash. It takes a relaunch and re-import for it to then be successful
Ashirim test.dorico (2.5 MB)
. This behavior consistent since latest update. ty
As per John Barron on FB, I tried to upload zip file of diagnostic report. Too large 108mb
Hi @Avremi_Gourarie, you could upload your enormous diagnostics to some cloud service and post the link to it here. It would maybe also useful if you could upload your XML file (you need to ZIP it, I think).
Ty. I’ll do so after the weekend. As for XML and midi files…. Happened with several files like I said, new behavior after the update
But I’ll do as you suggest. Ty
We’re on the tail of this crash. We don’t yet understand the cause of it, but we’re seeing it on a bunch of systems. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.

I think I speak for many when I say the following:
It’s beyond refreshing and impressive (and unusual), that when bugs occur, upper management will own it and be transparent. I know this will be fixed. For me that’s enough for now. Love Steinberg, Dorico and the culture of accountability that the developers have put it place. Your efforts are appreciated. Thank you, thank you!
