Crashes when using Opt-Shift to change MIDI ports

Hello, I keep experiencing crashes when trying to change multiple MIDI tracks’ Output Port while holding Option-Shift in Cubase 15.0.30 on a Mac running Tahoe 26.6.2.

I have Cubase connected to rack instruments versions of VE Pro 8 on my host computer as well as a secondary computer–both are Macs running Tahoe. When I first load my project, I’ll get maybe a couple times changing the output port without any crashes before it finally does crash.

Things I’ve tried are: deleting my Cubase preferences and starting fresh, cleared the user cache for Cubase, and reset my key commands to the stock profile. I am wondering if there’s something I’m either doing incorrectly or perhaps a preference I need to change?

The screenshot shows the location of where I’m trying to change multiple MIDI tracks’ port. I’ve also uploaded the most recent Cubase crash.

Just off the top of my head I wonder what VST instrument is involved.

Hey Steve- The only instrument I’m using is VE Pro 8 (v8.1.1028)

I don’t use VSL these days, but for troubleshooting I would next inspect or redo the connections between Cubase and VSL

Thanks, Steve. I’ll give that a try.
