When I try to open older projects in Cubase 15, the application crashes every time. I can’t open any projects created in version 14 or earlier. I’ve already tried reinstalling Cubase, but the issue persists.
My setup: MacBook Pro M4 Max, Apollo x6, newest macOS.

Btw, try to update your Apollo driver and software. There was an issue in the UAD version (a few versions back).

I can’t open it with the Steinberg UR824 either. Is UAD really the cause?

The crash was related to the UAD plug-in. So it was independent from the Audio Device in use.

I truly appreciate the support.
I usually launch it from Cubase 15, and then select and open each project from the menu. Both iZotope and UAD are up-to-date. What’s strange is that the projects aren’t particularly heavy, and I’m not doing anything complicated… it’s a mystery.
PS
The only iZotope product in the project I gave you recently was RX 11 De-click, and after removing it, the project opened without any issues. However, since all of my iZotope products are already on the latest version…
