I always have problems when exporting the mixdown in my Cubase 13 Pro. most of the time it crashes in the middle of the process. I have a M1 Pro, 16GB and 512GB. I already disable the screen saver and the option to shutdown the screen during the process… Any suggestions??
Hi,
Could you attach the *.ips file(s), please?
Mac: macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Cubase 13-2024-08-29-205731.ips (351,4,KB)
Cubase 13-2024-08-29-215129.ips (351,9,KB)
Cubase 13-2024-08-29-235401.ips (358,3,KB)
Cubase 13-2024-08-30-010747.ips (591,0,KB)
I’m almost changing my DAW back to Studio One… I simply can’t get my mixdown files if it’s a larger file (event of 1 hour, for example). I’ve tried realtime mixdown, regular way… simply terrible… Any help???
Hi,
Reported to Steinberg. Thank you.
Do you export in real-time or offline, please? Could you attach a screenshot of the settings of your Export Audio Mixdown widow, please?
There you are! Any suggestions… I’ve tried right now in Real Time export and Cubase it froze… If I try offline it crashes… I’m using a M1 Pro with 16GB of RAM, 512 Ssd and Sonoma 14.6.1.
Any suggestions before I quit??
Hi,
Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?
Or could you try to rename/remove all Cubase version preferences folders to get the factory settings, please?
Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData% \Steinberg\Cubase X_64
Where the X is the Cubase version (for example 13).
Your crash has been assigned to a developer in Steinberg.
Hi Martin, since I need to send this project to the videomakers, I tried reinstalling the Cubase 13 Pro and all my plugins (hours of work).
It worked very well and the mixdown file was generated successfully. Hope it solve the problem. In case it repeats, I’ll try your suggestion.
Should we expect any feedback from the developers?
Thanks for all support!
Hi,
Good to know, the reinstallation fixed the problem on your side. I’m glad.
If there is no need for addition information, usually there is no feedback.
After reinstalling Cubase Pro 13 and update all my plugins, it did work better for just a couple of times… now is all buggy again, crashing during mixdown, during mix sessions… a nightmare… attached some of the last ips files… need help or will quit Cubase…
The forum is not accepting the .ips files… I get an error all time I try to attach the files…
Hi,
You can ZIP them. Or you can upload them to Dropbox (or similar service) and share the link.
Arquivo.zip (337,3,KB)
Here you go! 5 only from yesterday… every day my C13Pro crashes many times… Hope you or Steinberg can help me with that! Thanks in advance!!!
Hi,
One crash is in ERA6_AudioCleanUpAssistant, one crash is in uaudio_pultec_eqp-1a. Please make sure, these plug-ins are up to date.
Other crashes are in Cubase.
Reported to Steinberg, thank you.
Yes. I’ve confirmed uAD Pultec is up to date… The majority if not almost all cases, when I look at the error file at the reopen, it’s not connected to plugins… crashes are in Cubase… Thanks for quick reply… Should I expected a feedback with turnaround from Steinberg??
Hi,
If someone from Steinberg need some clarification, they would reach you. Otherwise, no.
