Create a part in locator range menu or KC?

Hi, is there a key command or menu command to create a part within the locator range on the selected track? I know that I can use the pencil or double click in the empty space, but When I have lots of tracks in my arrange window and have to create a part later on in the project, I often click-create on the wrong part, would love to have a single command to create a part on the selected track based on locator range, that way I can just hit p and the other command.

Alohga f,

I do not know of any KC’s that can do what you asked but
I think it would be really kool if such a feature were available.

Perhaps it is possible to make a custom KC just for this purpose.

Anyone know how?
