Hi, Is there a way to turn the output of a plugin into automation data in C8? For example, can I capture the output waveform of a compressor assigned to a vocal track, write this data (to an automation track), and then later use it to control something like fader rides?
I realize that you can accomplish this sort of thing with the new VCA fader feature, but I want to be able to (manually) edit the data offline, so VCA faders do not help in this regard.
