Create Drum Map for Drum Machine Track

It would be really nice if Cubase could automatically create a Drum Map in the Drum Editor Window for the new Drum Track / Drum Machine.

Wouldn’t it make sense to also be able to use the drum editor as an alternative instead of the Pattern Editor?

Steps to reproduce: load Drum Track and Choose MIDI part instead of pattern. Drag some drum samples onto the pads. Open the drum editor. Nothing is labelled correctly. Create Drum Map from Instrument is grayed out.

This seems to be messed up close to everywhere. It doesn’t even work for drums in Halion.

For sure, well hoping that Steinberg can revamp the whole Drum Map situation in the next version because it’s a cool standout feature, it’s just not really as usable as it could be.
