Create drum map from instrument

This function seems to work ONLY on some VI as BFD3, Groove Agent (of course), but not for Addictive Drums.
My Q is: Is there some kind of build in function involved in the fact that it is possible to use create drum map from instrument on BFD3 and not Addictive Drums, Superior Drummer, EZDrummer?
