Create Ensembles from Single Instruments

You can create an ensemble from a single MIDI track using MIDI Inserts and MIDI Sends. To do this create several instances of the MIDI plug-in that if you wish to use. For each instance of the instruments you plan to use insert MIDI Modifiers for each MIDI Send. Note that there is a maximum of four MIDI Sends for each track. This screenshot shows the results of this process.

The delay must be expressed in ticks or parts per quarter note (PPQ). What you really want to know is the delay time. The delay time is a function of both the time signature and the tempo as expressed in this formula:

(Seconds/Beat/Measure * Beats/PPQ * Parts)/Beats/Measure

Here is an example assuming a 4/4 time signature. At 100 beats per minute 120 ticks results in a delay of .3 seconds. If you specify +120 and -120 you are creating a maximum delay of .6 seconds.
