Create Export marker based on selected event

Hey there,
maybe someone has a solution how to create an export marker based on a selected event?
Would like to find a keycommand/macro for this, but could not find the right commands. Maybe I am just thinking the wrong way.
Any help appreciated!

You can use Set Locators to Selection Range (default key command P) and in the Export Audio Mixdown Dialog under Export Range, select Cycle Markers.

Thanks for the suggestion. To make this work I had to add the command “Add and edit cycle marker”.
So I created a macro which consists of:

  • Locators to selection
  • Add and edit cycle marker (which then creates a cycle marker based on the locators)
