Create Lead sheet from Score

Hi,

I’ve made my first score in Dorico and need to re-use all the music to create a lead sheet whose content is linked to the score, ie if I make changes in the score, they will be reflected in the lead sheet.

I’d really appreciate some advice or link to a youtube tutorial. Can’t seem to find one.

Add cues from selected portions of the score (whatever melody lines you want to use) to the lead staff. You’ll need to set the cue notes to be full-sized, and hide the bar rests and the cue labels. Not too difficult.

Or perhaps you can simply use a part layout using the music from whichever of the instruments in your score has the lead?
