I want to add a golpe above certain accented beats using an X. The current symbol is an asterisk. Can I change that? I looked but could not find a tutorial.
And, can I set the spacing so that when I add the symbol it will automatically space it above the note to the side of the stem?

Hi @kevin.romero.gtr, you can create a new Playing Technique with the desired x.
Here an example of the procedure, using the x that comes as glyph for the Petaluma font in time signatures range (you can use another font and choose another glyph).
Start from menu Library>Playing Techniques… and just follow the numbers:

You can find a circular glyph and resize it as desired:
Or you could create the whole symbol with circled x in a vector graphic program (like to free Affinity), export as SVG and import as Graphic in your custom Playing Technique.
