Is there any way to create a (system) text object that displays above everything else, even tempo markings, etc.
I know I could faff around in engrave mode to it, but when you have 40+ parts, and lots of text objects…
No, I’m afraid not. At some point in the future we may make it possible to alter the order in which Dorico considers different types of items for collision avoidance.
That would be ideaL.
The exact situation I’m needing it for is for section titles across a large single movement work.
Using a different flow for each section isn’t possible because there are ties across sections, etc, plus in the parts they shouldn’t interrupt the system.
