This page suggests it’s possible to create a click track:
Select Project > Signature Track > Render Audio Click between Locators
There is no “Signature Track” item under the “Project” menu.
Is this an AI limitation or am I missing something?
Long version:
I’m actually trying to determine if Cubase pro is suitable for me and have been trying to use AI plus some extrapolation as a trial version proxy since there isn’t a trial available. I already own Samplitude Pro and Studio One Pro so will qualify for crossgrade pricing.
But I’m frustrated with Samplitude, Studio One, Cakewalk by Bandlab and Reaper as they all fall short of one or more of my requirements. I have also determined that Pro Tools will not be suitable by reading about it. I need strong MIDI support.
Of all the DAWs I’ve tried so far, only Cakewalk is capable of doing what I want, but I have to spend way more time than I’d like doing things I need to do.
I really don’t want to buy yet another DAW that I can’t use.
I used Cubase about 15 years ago for a couple of projects at another studio and really liked it.
