Hello -
I first wanted to say - I made big strides over several months of switching from Finale to Dorico, it took a longer time than I would have liked, but I learned a lot. Thanks in part to Scoring Express templates and some one on one help from Leo there. Now it’s been a couple months and I’m about to find out just how much I’ve forgotten!
I’m starting to work in a small band score, so there will be some new things to learn there…but I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for creating a Keys 2 book for musical theatre use. Once I know what instruments/layers etc I want for a tune, do you tend to create a playback that represents what it will sound like basically? If so, can you point me towards where I might learn how to do that? There will be many different samples that would be used per tune. I can’t remember how I did this in Finale, so that’s a good sign haha.
Thank you!
Bob
