Hi ,
Submixes:
Is it possible to create a new track with a submix directly (and only) in the project, without needing to export/save the file elsewhere?
Thanks

Hi,
You can create it. But if you don’t save it or export it, you will lose it once you create another project or quit Cubase.
What is your use case, please?
I create submixes using export mixdown and opting for “create auto track after exporting”.
I’d like to simply generate an audio track directly within the project, without the need to go to the desktop each time, find the exported file, and delete it. I guess I could use render in place , but on multiple tracks render I’d rather avoid that.
Hi,
In the Export Audio MixDown dialog, you can enable the option to add the created Audio file back to the project or create a new project with the file.
Or you can use Render in Place function.
