I have a project where the piccolo part appears on the score but, unlike all the other parts which have there own setup, the piccolo part appears as ‘empty player where everything appears as ‘Tacit”. How do I remedy that?
Usually, you’ll see “Tacet” on a flow if the Player/instrument isn’t assigned to that Flow.
It’s strange that you can see the Piccolo part in each Flow in the Score layout, though.
Hard to say without seeing more.
Try creating a brand new Part layout?
Did this start out as an XML import? For reasons, new Players/instruments are not assigned to any Flows in documents that originate as imports from other formats.
Select the Piccolo layout in the Layouts panel on the right-hand side in Setup mode. Does the Piccolo player in the Players panel on the left-hand side show illuminated, with its checkbox checked? If not, click the checkbox to activate it. If that checkbox is checked, look at the checkboxes in the Flows panel at the bottom of Setup mode: are the checkboxes for the flows in the project activated?
Ok. Now I found the part when I scrolled down. Now the part says ‘Piccolo 1, Piccolo 2 , Piccolo.3. But anyway, I found the part.
