Creating Divisi in Parts Only

I’m working with a very ‘dense’ full score and want to separate divisi’s in the parts to aid in clarity but I don’t want to divide them in the full score - I can just barely get everything to fit as it is.

I tried creating divisi’s in an individual part but the change also appears in the Full Score.

I have to assume this is possible, so would greatly appreciate guidance on this.

You can condense the divisi in the Full Score, and not in the part.

Layout Options > Players > Condensing.

This way they will appear on a single staff in the score, and on separate staves in the part.

(To avoid condensing in the part, you can simply uncheck “Enable condensing”)
