The installed template location is in ~//Application Suuport/Steinberg/Dorico 5/Project Templates.
I have 2 macs with Dorico 5 pro installed. My default project folder and backup folder is set to the Documents on iCloud. Now i can create/edit projects from either mac.
I don’t see any default folder for the custom templates to also access on either mac. So i created a link on both macs to point the Project templates to the Documents on iCloud. Would this approach make sense?
As you’ve found, you can’t change the default folder that Dorico will use. If you’re careful, you may find that you can use a symbolic link to a folder in your iCloud Drive. This isn’t something that we specifically support, and we don’t test these scenarios as part of our application testing, but in theory it should work OK.
Yeah I have several computers which need syncing, not just with Dorico, it’s quite a pain … if the Hub had the equivalent of “Export Library” that would be cool.
