I have a score where 3 percussionists each at some point go to the center of the stage and play a temple bowl and a woodblock. All of them all play a variety of instruments of their own when not doing that. In Dorico I set this up as each percussionist being a player with multiple instruments, including the temple bowl and woodblock, which are a different instrument for each player (ie there are three instantiations of each instrument which correspond to only one real world instrument). I want to create a score layout to put in the center of the stage, which should contain only the temple bowl and woodblock parts. In other words, a part showing only a subset of the instruments held by each player. Is this possible given my setup, or is there another setup which makes this possible? If not, what is the best workaround?
Couldn’t you have the temple bowls and woodblocks as a separate player?
Then, add the bowls to the 3 percussion layouts. Using manual staff visibility to hide the bowls when not being played.

Thank you for the suggestion. I think the only issue with that is that in the full score, the temple bowl and woodblock will appear as a separate player and be ordered and bracketed incorrectly as a result. Do you know a way around that?
