Has anyone produced their own shepard tones?
I’m working on designing some but want to use just the notes in the minor scale (say D minor).
I’m not sure what works best … do I ascend the scale across several bars and if so how many? How many octaves do I do, just one? If using D minor scale, using 4/4 time, ascending an octave across 2 bars means I’m back to D again on beat 4 of the second bar, but then the next beat of the next bar will also be D… how would I handle the tranisition and looping in this case?
