As a small feature request, I would love the ability for a poco cresc. or poco dim. to have a smaller playback effect than a regular cresc. or dim… I frequently get in the situation where I write something like mp < > < > < > but the crescendo is a little too drastic because it always goes all the way up to mf. I know I can go into the dynamics lane and make edits there, but I find that editor frustrating sometimes too, particularly for edits of this type and so I avoid it when I can. It would be a lot nicer if there was a simple check box for “poco” or something that would have a playback effect.

I don’t find any problems doing it in the key editor but it would certainly be a time-saver for such descriptions to have an effect. I suspect, however, that there might be a similar problem to Dorico failing to implement multiple word tempo changes as well (like poco accel.) but perhaps it’s a quite different algorithm.
