I had bought Cubase 12 Pro education version last year when I was enrolled at a music school for 1 year diploma course, I did so many projects with it but I was thinking to upgrade it to Nuendo 12 (by cross grading it) because there is an offer going on also. My question is because I have bought Cubase 12 Pro education version. Will I have problems with the crossgrade of Nuendo 12? My work area will be mostly music production, foley for films, film music, mixing and mastering.

No, you will not have any problem. The EDU licenses are handled as usual retail licenses in case of updates/upgrades.
