Cross-staves vertical line (Same instruments)

Hi! For a reason I can’t explain, cross-staves vertical lines on an instrument with multiple staves (such as piano) don’t work. They are stuck at only one staff.

It might be because I added extra staves on the instrument

Unlikely. But it’s hard to be sure…

Did you select at least one note on each staff at the same rhythmic position prior to inputting the vertical line? e.g. clicking one note, then Ctrl/Cmd-clicking a note on the other staff?

This is a “Sketch” instrument (introduced in Dorico 4). I added two staves.

Here are two other examples with a 5 staves Sketch instrument. The behaviour is not consistent as you can see
