Im getting mixed answers so please forgive me if this topic has already been answered. Im just looking for greater clarification. I’ve crossgraded to nuendo from cubase pro a few years ago. Currently on Nuendo 14 with the recent $99 upgrade sale. Now cubase 15 is out and I want to use some of the features but don’t want to wait for the nuendo update. Can I pay for the cubase update to upgrade my working cubase 13 pro to 15 or is it locked in to 13 as my last working version?
You can update your Cubase 13 to 15. The Cubase and Nuendo licenses are not linked in any way and both can be updated independently. As far as I can tell, the only restriction is that you can’t use your Cubase license for another crossgrade.
