I know this issues has been brought up in the past but it seems like it is still here even in version 6.04.
What happens is when you have crosshair enabled and you select the scissors tool if you hover your mouse over audio events, then the gui of the program becomes slow and sluggish. The mixer meters freeze , the cursor moves spasmodically, until you select the cursor tool again.
I have noticed the problem is worse when you have multiple audio files in a project and almost non- noticeable if you only have midi tracks.
So, is this a known issue due to be fixed or we should learn to live with it? Any workaround?
